PE Activity #38 - "Knockout"




OVERVIEW:

Knockout is an awesome activity to test basketball free-throw accuracy in a fun way!



EQUIPMENT:

  • 2 basketballs

  • Basketball ring


SETUP:

  • All players line up on the free-throw line

  • The first 2 players have the basketballs


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. The person in front shoots the ball

  2. As soon as the first person shoots, the person behind them can shoot

  3. If the person that shot 2nd gets the ball in the hoop before the person that shot first, the 1st person is out

  4. As soon as you score, you pass the ball to the next person in line and continue until there is 1 winner


MAKE IT EASIER:

  • Move closer to the hoop


MAKE IT HARDER:

  • Move further from the hoop to the 3 point line
