Hello and welcome to PE Buddy's Athlete Development Program! This course is design to equip you with the knowledge to improve your performance in whatever sport you play. I'm a current practicing PE teacher, exercise and sport scientist and semi-pro soccer player. I've spent my whole career playing, studying and teaching sport, exercise and performance and have learnt several extremely effective strategies used by top athletes all over the world. And I want to share them with you! Are you ready to become the best player in your team, region, state or country? This course will teach you the 4 pillars of performance: - The importance of strength and conditioning - The importance of sleep - The importance of nutrition - The importance of recovery Within each of these pillars you'll learn practical skills and knowledge that you can apply straight away as well as over time to gain consistent results! Here's what you'll know and be able to do by the end of this course: - Create a fitness plan that caters to your own sport - Know what to eat before, during and after training and games to maximise performance recovery - Know how to reduce the likelihood of injuries - Be able to train more without burning out - Be able to recovery quicker to gain adaptations and improve performance This course is useful for anyone interested in sport, fitness or athletics!
